What will happen to us?
This country is rather... strange.
Everyone is so hyped with the idea of raising the fuel price. So many people go on demonstrations on street, even going as far as destroying things. Demonstrations which should have been used to express our opinions and thoughts ended up as violent actions. Polices needed to stop them all. Among those people there are students as well; in this case they are university students. As much as they want to stop the raise for good and express that university students exist, I really can't understand why it has to be so.. destructive.
Now everyone has trouble going somewhere or doing something. We are scared the whole day because those people could come around and destroy things. Even more since my campus is one of strategic locations. There were reports of violent demonstrations near my campus tonight already.
How scary.
Just where are we going to? What will happen to us from now on?

I bet Jakarta is having it worse...
I'm also a bit ashamed that university students nowadays are now like this... But now I'm more pissed off with our government officials... There is a reason why I don't watch news. *rolls eyes*
Indeed we are.
I totally didn't see why university students had to act so violent. I'm sure there are other ways. I heard that students from my university joined the meeting or something; that is one of the way. Much better than destroying things.
As for the government officials... You can say I'm skeptical, or perhaps I had lost faith in them since long ago. ^^;
I wonder what the decision was, though.
Poor us, no?
I did watch the meeting last night, but I could hear what they were saying and I could only say that they were more childish than children and they had no respect for other people.
I thought that for now, the fuel price isn't increased.
Re: Poor us, no?
Nothing fun from the meeting last night, all they did was just yelling at each other, stopping what someone wanted to say before it actually ended, and just didn't go anywhere. No raise in the price, of course, but as we wait things could really get ugly. :/

What will happen to us this way, really. *sigh*
